Outreach Activities
Nepal Eye Hopsital's outreach activites include cataract screening camps, surgical eye camps and school screening in different parts of the country. In these camps about 10,000 people were benefited in the year 2069.70. From satellinte clinic at Baireni, Dhaidng and Tistung, Makwanpur about 1,800 patients were screened. Similarly, Around 3,800 patients received eye care services in Kathmandu valley and other districts such as Dolakha, Bhojpur, Kavre, Rasuwa, Dhading, Sindhupalchok and Ramechhap. Around 900 patients screened from the camps underwent free cataract surgery.
