Nepal Eye Hospital is making significant strides in advancing eye care through robust research initiatives. With the recent formation of an Institutional Review Committee (IRC), the hospital demonstrates its commitment to ethical standards and patient welfare. Currently, 14 research proposals have been submitted, reflecting the institution’s dedication to addressing critical issues in eye health. The process is underway for IRC registration at Nepal Health Research Council (NHRC), signaling a pivotal step towards ensuring that research conducted at the hospital adheres to national regulations and guidelines. Through these endeavors, the Hospital continues to foster a culture of innovation and excellence in ophthalmic research, ultimately contributing to improved patient outcomes and the advancement of eye care in Nepal.
